George French
Pastor
George serves as the pastor of High Plains Christian Fellowship (HPCF) and is deeply committed to sharing God’s Word and shepherding the church family. A graduate of the University of Wyoming College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate, George balances his pastoral ministry with leading the Friends of Internationals ministry. His heart for the Word of God, the God of the Word, loving people, discipleship, and missions is evident in every area of his life and ministry. Jamie, his wife, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a lifelong resident of the Laramie, Wyoming area. She is passionate about helping others find healing, growth, and hope through the Word, their faith, and counseling. Married for 22 years, George and Jamie share life with their 20-year-old son and their three lively dogs, who keep their home full of laughter and activity. Together, they enjoy serving their community, supporting their church family, and living out their faith in everyday life.

Steve Arthur has faithfully served in ministry for many years, bringing a deep love for God’s Word and a heart for people into every area of church life. Since the beginning of High Plains Christian Fellowship, Steve has been a steady and committed presence, investing his time, energy, and gifts to help the church grow and thrive. He is married to his wife, Gina, and together they share a passion for serving the Lord and caring for others. Whether it’s through music, behind-the-scenes work like cleaning the church, or stepping in to help international students with practical needs like car repairs, Steve and Gina are always willing to serve wherever there is a need. Steve’s life reflects a quiet faithfulness, consistently pointing others to Christ through both his actions and his love for Scripture. He and Gina are a valued part of the church family, and their dedication continues to be a blessing to many.
